You guys! Have you seen Scrivener 2.0 for the Mac? I HEART Scrivener and this new version makes me even more weak at the knees. Not sure whether I’ll need every single thing Scrivener 2.0 has to offer, but I’ll be able to customize it to the way I work, which is key.
If you own a PC, have no fear. There is now a beta version of Scrivener available…just for you! Please note, this is a public test version. You’re able to report bugs, get updates, and find support. If you’d rather wait until the glitches are worked out, the official release date is sometime in early 2011.
A cool thing is the guys at Literature & Latte will offer a 50% off discount for NaNoWriMo winners. There’s even a trial period, so you can test the product before you buy…ok, ok. I’ll stop before I sound like an infomercial.
I bet you’re gonna love Scrivener. 😉 It’s a godsend. That is all.
I downloaded the trial version of 1.0 a while back, but I never finished going through the tutorial. I might have to try it again, though, because I need to be more organized.
Good luck, Sherrie! Scrivener has saved me in the organization department. Hope you decide to try it!
I’m loving the Windows beta. I’m wondering if the final Windows release next year will match this new version of the Apple software, or the earlier one. Obviously, hoping for the new!
I’m so glad you’re loving Scrivener, Becky! Keeping my fingers and toes crossed that the new release will make you even happier!
